In this post I will show you how to quickly and easily install Wine on Linux Mint 13. I installed a brand spanking new copy of the latest Linux Mint on my VirtualBox to ensure all of the methods below work.
Installing Wine On Linux Mint 13
Wine is used to emulate Windows programs however its not a Windows emulator if that makes sense, it can run tons of games and everyday Windows applications. You have three different options below to install Wine.
Run the command: sudo apt-get install wine
Open your Software Manager and do a quick search for Wine, you may see something like the below once you have located it. After you find it just hit install and authenticate it will also install the required dependencies for you.
